Malaysian

Because Peninsular Malaysia shares a common history with Singapore, it is common to find versions of the same dish across both sides of the border regardless of place of origin, such as laksa and chicken rice. Rice is the most important staple food in Malaysia. A popular dish based on rice in Malaysia is nasi lemak, rice steamed with coconut milk and pandan leaves to give it a rich fragrance.

quote A small food place in the neighbourhood of Flat Bush. Serves nice steamed buns and hot soy milk. Price is reasonable and portion is decent. The guy at the counter is super friendly too!

quote Decent range of food however the service is extremely slow, and no one even acknowledges your existence at the counter for a good five minutes. It took 20 minutes at a quiet time to get 2 takeaway drinks

quote So goooood!! Most spacious feeling malatang place I’ve been to yet, spacious I. The sense of dining and choosing toppings for your dish. Great choice and always love a serve yourself sauce area-copious amounts of spring onion, peanut crumble, coriander galore!! Dry hot pot option was yum, felt quite clean-not super oily. Keen to go back!

quote Food was great. Very cheap and very tasty. The service and atmosphere was great too. No annoying shop music, and not a lot of customers. However, the tables and chairs were a bit dirty, but that's ok because the place is very understaffed. There was only one old lady and the good food made up for it. Plus, the lady was very kind and nice.

quote I am so glad that I got to discover this lovely Chinese breakfast place! Their cold soybean milk, chives/dried shrimp/egg pocket, tofu puddings are just what I imagined they would taste like. Price is very reasonable. Wide variety of food range to choose from. Fast and friendly service. Open from morning all the way till dinner, which is really amazing.
