Sweet corn and chicken soup had the consistency of snot and didn't have much flavour. Everything else good. Batter on the honey chicken was a bit soggy but still tasty

What a find! Most dishes are priced at $10. Despite the cheap prices the portion sizes are big, packed with ingredients, and super tasty. There was a queue when we went at lunch time but it was well worth the wait! Will definitely come back to try more.

Tried this place for the first time recently. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. The Beef Pho was the best I've had for a long time. This is definitely a must try.
The staff need to focus a bit more on serving the tables rather than standing behind the counter, chatting to each other. I ordered a Scotch and come. Took forever to arrive. Then, they never came back to ask if I wanted another? I would have ordered 3-4 if I was given the chance to order them. They lost money there.

At $10 a dish, this Malaysian café is a budget win — perfect if you’re a student or just looking to fill up without emptying your wallet. But for me, it wasn’t quite the flavour journey I was hoping for.
I tried the Penang White Curry Mee, Hainan Chicken Rice, Loh Bak, and Teh Tarik. The curry mee arrived in a generous bowl, but it was mainly noodles swimming in white curry broth, with not much else going on. The Hainan Chicken Rice looked like the real deal, but taste-wise, it felt like my brain got the memo — “this is chicken and rice” — while my mouth and stomach were still waiting for it to show up. The highlight? Only the Teh Tarik — smooth, milky, and exactly how it should be.
If you’re here for value, especially as a student, this is a 5-star find. But if, like me, you’re chasing those bold, satisfying Malaysian flavours, it’s closer to 3 stars — filling enough, but missing the spark that makes you crave the next bite.
