Great pho with clean flavourful taste without the nasties. Broth is amazing without msg. Ingredients are generous and well prepared. Restaurant is clean and the kitchen is opened to be seen and very much clean and tidy. Well run and great pho! The fat and beef pho was very well made and yummy.

Just got take out here and was pleasantly surprised that it was given with a free tote bag and a complementary rice pudding! Best range of vegan and veg options in the area as well and wonderful variety of food! 10/10 recommend!

Consistently good coffee. Everything here is made by the owner, and is very fresh. Even the bread is homemade, and is excellent. Has a very large and varied menu for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Don't be quick to pass this one by. Low key, and easily overlooked amongst the other food spots in this stretch of Centre Road, E Bentleigh, but definitely worth trying.

Young man Adam was excellent in his service. He poured tea into your tea cups and was very polite and attentive.

✨ Thirty-one years strong and still authentic 🇮🇳, this local gem delivers rich, aromatic curries 🍛 that honour traditional flavours and craftsmanship 👨🍳. The spice balance 🌶️ feels thoughtful, not overpowering, while the setting remains warm and unpretentious 🕯️. Whether you’re in for chicken tikka 🍗 or a vegetarian korma 🥦, it’s true Indian comfort at its best!!

I dropped into Danny’s Kopitiam for lunch and left with the unshakable feeling that I’d just eaten at the happiest intersection between Penang and paradise. The place hums with charm — part café, part time machine, and wholly delightful.
The combination hor fun was so good I briefly considered proposing to it, and the char kway teow had more personality than most dinner parties I’ve attended. It’s smoky, saucy, and slightly indecent — just the way noodles should be.
But the real star of the show — the prima donna of the dessert world — is the sago pudding. It arrived modestly, glistening like a diplomat’s handshake, and tasted like summer got a postgraduate degree in comfort.
The service? Impeccable. The kind of warmth that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a relative’s kitchen — the one who actually likes you.
Danny’s Kopitiam isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an argument for joy. And like all great arguments, I left full, happy, and entirely convinced.
