My Khmer wife and I decided to try Lemongrass Restaurant after noticing how busy and popular it looked—and we’re glad we did! The restaurant is small but clean, tidy, and well set up. The menu was a real standout—clear, with pictures of every dish and descriptions in both English and Khmer, which made ordering a breeze.
We each chose a lunch dish and also ordered a takeaway to enjoy later. Every dish we had was delicious, and my Cambodian wife was especially impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food—high praise indeed!
No complaints at all: great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone after genuine, tasty Cambodian cuisine.

Delicious! Open on public holiday (legendary). Loved the fried rice noodles with beef I ordered, takes me back to eating it in Shanghai. Exceptional dish variety, wonderful service.
Will be coming back here to try everything else.

As a regular customer, I can confidently say this place never misses!
Every dish I choose is consistently delicious, full of authentic Vietnamese flavour, and cooked to perfection. From the pho to the rice paper rolls, every bite feels like a trip to Vietnam. The staff are friendly and the service is always warm and welcoming. A must visit spot in Carnegie for anyone craving genuine, mouth watering Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommended🤩

Food was very average. Not your authentic Vietnamese food taste.
We didn't expect much, but gave it a try anyways. Com tam was okay, pickled veggies were okay, shredded pork was very dry. The soup and sauce was not too good.
The pho was not good either.
The staff went to the back kitchen and spoke with their peers for a long time. We had to go into the kitchen to order.
Can't say I recommend this spot.

Just got take out here and was pleasantly surprised that it was given with a free tote bag and a complementary rice pudding! Best range of vegan and veg options in the area as well and wonderful variety of food! 10/10 recommend!

A Taste of Guangzhou in Forest Hill, Tasty House lives up to its name. This spot delivers seriously good comfort food with bold, nostalgic flavors that speak to tradition done right.
Roast duck lovers will appreciate the crisp, golden skin and rich, succulent meat.
The roast pork hits that magical trifecta: crunchy skin, tender meat, and just the right amount of fat.
But the surprise star is salted free range chicken. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and quietly addictive, something that brings me back to Guangzhou.
The ox tongue stir-fry—tender slices with a deep, savory flavor that lingers in the best way.
Even the vegetable soup, often a supporting act, held its own with a light but satisfying broth that felt like a warm hug.
Tasty House isn’t flashy—it’s the kind of place that wins you over dish by dish. If you’re into honest, flavor-packed Cantonese fare, this place is worth the visit.
