Absolutely love this place! Been a family favourite of ours for what feels like a lifetime. The Jade Pavilion is a gem in Ferntree Gully. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and all made on site. A family-run business, the service is warm and welcoming every time. Highly recommend the prawn toast, spring rolls and the jade combination in birds nest. A great local spot for quality Chinese food!

What a fantastic find! Jalan Alor in Ferntree Gully truly delivered an authentic Malaysian dining experience that did not disappoint my taste buds. The food was full of flavour, cooked to perfection, and incredibly authentic,just like what you’d find on the streets of Malaysia. Most meals are around $10, which is amazing value considering the quality and portion sizes. It’s a great spot if you’re after a delicious, satisfying meal that won’t break the bank. The place is always busy (a good sign!), and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I was extremely impressed with the quality, authenticity, and overall experience. If you love Malaysian cuisine or want to try something new, I 100% recommend checking this place out. A quick find, but one I’ll definitely be returning to!

My Khmer wife and I decided to try Lemongrass Restaurant after noticing how busy and popular it looked—and we’re glad we did! The restaurant is small but clean, tidy, and well set up. The menu was a real standout—clear, with pictures of every dish and descriptions in both English and Khmer, which made ordering a breeze. We each chose a lunch dish and also ordered a takeaway to enjoy later. Every dish we had was delicious, and my Cambodian wife was especially impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food—high praise indeed! No complaints at all: great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone after genuine, tasty Cambodian cuisine.

First time customers, we ordered tonight as we felt like Souvlaki and WOW, we were extremely happy! The lamb was tender, the salad was fresh and the sauces were on point. The added bonus was the home-made potato cakes we ordered as a side, crisp on the outside, soft inside and perfectly seasoned. You have a new but definitely loyal customer after that fantastic meal. Special fried rice was good needs a little more salt but nice mild flavour decent size shrimp and bean shoots which were nice addition, general tsos chicken was ok chicken was done well but the sauce in my opinion is a bit too sweet. Beef with garlic and vegetables was ok needs more vegetable variety (mushrooms, bamboo shoots, black fungus, straw mushrooms would have been nice) pork dumplings were ok the filling needs work flavour wise. Shrimp toast was the best I’ve had in a long time!
