Since moving from their Parkwood place into Coogee I always wanted to come down and try it as it was much closer to home.
Had good memories of the place back when it was in Parkwood. Well It is set in a small cozy place with pretty good service. The presentation of the food was good. But the food was pretty average. I mean it wasn’t bad but when I go out and eat I like real tasty, party in your mouth kind of sensations and unfortunately overall it wasn’t.
The sizzling tofu, Kung pao beef, and prawns and vegetable in garlic sauce were their best dishes on the night. The fried stuff was average, the fried rice was pretty average as well. Pity as wanted this place to do well but it fell short.

Finally made it here for dinner after hearing so much about this place. And I must say their good reputation is well justified. Food here is tasty with decent-sized portion, and service is top notch. Will definitely be back for more!

Went here for lunch and both times they were absolutely fantastic.
The lunch set is such great value for money and decent portions.
You get a main dish and a drink for 15 dollars and you can add a drink for extra $.
The food is authentic and flavourful. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are rather big.
The service is quick, reliable and friendly. The staff are thai and the chef is thai too so the food is delicious 😋 I'd go back again and again.
Highly recommend 👌

Tucked in and hidden, this restaurant is so underrated. What an amazing experience we have had!! Awesome salted fish fried rice, mixed vegetables in garlic and char kway teow with BYO charge of 1.50 pet person. The fried rice tasted amazing with bits of salted fish and egg. The char kway teow had a slight wok hei to it. It wasn't intense, but just perfect. The vegetables were crispy and cooked perfectly smothered in generous portion of garlic. Staff were warm and welcoming. The ambience looked so familiar... just like ipoh! Highly recommended. This is a hidden gem

Had the ipoh special fried rice, the beef omelette and the rendang mee hoon. To wash it all down, had the herbal tea. The fried rice went perfectly with the omelette. The omelette that came with beautifully cooked onions and beef strips complemented the fried rice's mild taste. The fried rice itself was so flavourful and yummy. The mee hoon was amazing and this was the first time I have tasted something like this. Unique and a must try! The herbal tea was a great thirst quencher. What a combo! Highly recommended...
