Nepalese

Much of the cuisine is variations on Asian themes. Momo is a Nepalese style dumpling filled with minced meat in a flour dough, given different shapes and then cooked by steaming. Special foods such as sel roti, finni roti and patre are eaten during festivals such as Tihar. Sel roti is a traditional Nepali homemade ring-shaped rice bread which is sweet to taste.

quote If you are in the neighbourhood do drop by for the good salted vegetable soup, rich, tasty and appetising at the same time. But the yam rice lack of its yam…. And that disappoint me.

quote Great Teow Chew cuisine. The downside is the shop has a pretty small space. The biggest table can probably accommodate around 8 people. They only allowed 1 hr / table. If you come in a group, it’s better to make reservations as they usually have certain queues. My favorite is the fried lye fun. Reasonable pricing. Too bad I wasn’t able to try their dessert as it was sold out by 7pm.
