So I was craving for a fish and chips on a NY day arvo and found this gem of a place. I ordered seafood basket. Served by a friendly uncle whom happily answered my questions. Cozy restaurant that feels like an outback deli. It is neat and clean. Seafood basket was sizeable with plenty of chips and generous two servings of hake fish. At $17, it was great value. Quality is great too. I agree with some of the reviews where chips were crunchily tasty and were not oily. Fish were great with crunchy batter yet juicy in the inside. Food aside, the menu instore, in my opinion, is kind of confusing with plenty of options and prices plastered all over. I will visit again to taste their other food. Recommended to try if you want a no fuss tasty fish and chips.

Edited latest: went for their lunch this time round and it's definitely value for money. Not overly expensive, decent portion size but flavorsome. Nice service from the staffs.
First time being here & having dinner... Ordered Tofu Bowl N Bites special & Curry Fish wings.
Pretty happy with our meal experience. Both dishes tasted nice & big portion. Though the pricing is on the slightly steep side, overall it's still worth it for the quantity & the taste.
Nice service & clean environment. Making reservation is probably a good idea as they do get busy.

Recently gone to gluten free options due to health reasons, and it was nice to get chips that are gluten free and the grilled fish was plenty and well cooked not dry. And its not north of the river either... big win for a local, the options they had for my family and the serving size was huge.
They also doubled checked with me the cooking options and were helpful and friendly.

Location is out of the way and surrounded by an older, run-down strip mall / area with graffiti on walls nearby. I drove past it twice, thinking my GPS had sent me to the wrong location. Plenty of free parking directly outside.
Help yourself to utensils as no table service which is not unusual.
Interesting and authentic menu variety.
I chose a few different dishes from the menu, including their Kope tea/coffee which you can order hot or cold and was nice strength and flavor .
All the dishes were hot and fresh. Although I can not remember all the names, so i have included some pictures. Reasonable presentation. The Appetiser was nice. The curry Laksa had good flavor and mix of chicken and seafood , whereas the other soup was a bit more bland. The other dish was tasty and hot. The radish cake was very tasty, crispy and hot
Not much atmosphere / ambiance but the menu is reasonably large. If you like authentic, then it appears to be the place the locals go as it was half full of customers and others waiting for orders to go.
