Our Customer Reviews

quote This was our second visit in 2 weeks. The serving staff are so friendly, especially the young lady who served us today. She was very kind and thoughtful. We ordered off the special menu - the curry combo plus the samosa and tea special. We loved that you could swap the rice for the naans as we prefer naans. The samosas were freshly cooked, nice and crispy on the outside and a flavoursome veg filling. There was a little wait for the naans as these were cooked fresh to order. They were definitely worth the wait. I have to say the garlic naan is one of the best we have tasted. The naans were fluffy and the tandoori roti had a nice crisp texture. They were perfect. All the curries were again cooked fresh. We saw the chicken tikka being put on the skewers ready to go in the tandoor. They had a lovely smokey taste and the pieces were juicy. The lamb melted in your mouth. The karahi, jalfrezi and tikka masala had lots of large pieces of veg. All had a very generous portion of chicken and lamb in. They all had different unique authentic flavours, with a choice of spice level. All were served in lovely bowls and came out piping hot. Every dish was so tasty and was full of flavour. The masa tea was huge and was a great way to finish the meal. This is such a great place to have freshly cooked home cooked meals. Staff are great and the chef's were excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant. This is now one of our favourite restaurants. We'll worth the 20 minute drive. We will definitely be back again soon.

quote Good food value. Quality is excellent for price. Service friendly and OK. Think of it as a successful takeout place with a few tables available. Opposite a Bunnings. Off street parking out front.

quote I liked the ramandan buffet, I especially liked the beef brisket. However, the food weren’t refilled like I was told, my reservation time was kind of late but I had been assured that there’ll be refills throughout the night. My friend and I’s seat was put in the way of a walking path so people kept bumping me as I ate, the food ran out quickly and there weren’t refills, we just had one plate of food. The restaurant was rowdy, I couldn’t hear my friend speak to me most of the time. Aside from that, the food was delicious, I would come back again if we could get better seats and the food was actually refilled.

quote The pizza here is super underrated. Everyone talks about the fish and chips but the pizza is what truly shines. I had a portofino which was big, loaded with toppings, and tasted fresh. For just $16, it's an absolute bargain. Also probably one of the few fish and chips places in Perth that has seating inside and outside, which is great if you just want to sit down with friends and chat. We ended up staying for 2.5 hours, and the lady running the place was super accommodating and chill about it. Highly recommend!

quote Venue: Malaysian Chinese restaurant is located at a very quiet street. Free carparks outside. Very old causal setting, and it needs maintenance. Simple decor in old style. Toilets are available. --- 6/10 Service: Grab the menu at the front desk and find a table. Beverage menu wasn't available, but we were told most common drinks were available. Take order at table. The lady staff was very nice and friendly. She always smiled. Drinks and food served fast. Chopsticks and spoon place in a jar on each table. There was a self-service counter for condiments, tissue, water, and extra containers or utensils. Pay at the front desk. --- 7.1/10 F&B: English menu only. Tidy presentation. Normal portion of noodles. Overpriced for such portion of fillings of noodles soup. 10%off for cash payment. - Teh Tarik, $5.6: pretty sweet. --- 6/10 - Milo Dinosaur, ~$5.6?: a lot of ice cubes. Disappointed as it's not full. Very small portion of Milo --- 6/10 - Penang Prawn Mee, $17.8: Only 2 prawns (medium size, without shell), some chicken meat, bean sprouts, Vermicelliand yellow noodles. Soup was slightly spicy. No egg. --- 5.5/10 - Chicken Laksa, $18.8: unbelievable, it's Chef's recommendation. There are 3 tofu puff, bean sprouts, rice Vermicelli, yellow noodles, and a good portion of chicken meat (smooth texture but in fragments), soup was average but not spicy. --- 6/10
