Our Customer Reviews

quote The burgers here are so good! I've tried a few different ones but the one that stood out the most was the one with pulled pork. Better than any of the other burger places in Dunedin imo. Haven't tried anything else from here, though!

quote We went for the all you can eat chicken The chicken was really nicely cooked, crispy coating, chicken perfectly cooked. It's noted the chicken is all the same, just different sauces or coating - beware the honey soy- extremely salty! The service was average at best, long delays between dishes, no explanation on what to expect or how to order, items missing etc. Ambiance is what is missing most. The restaurant area is functional, but it lacks personality and warmth and leaves you feeling a bit like a perching short stay visitor. Adjusting the lighting and investing in staff performance could see this average restaurant reach new heights and popularity.

quote A lovely little cafe. I was here this morning and enjoyed a white chocolate & raspberry muffin with a Soy latte. The first thing I noticed was how clean and airy the cafe is. A really nice feel. I was impressed that the lady didn't like the way the latte was made (too much froth) she went and rectified it. I felt the service was caring and wanting to please which is lovely to see. I did buy a cherry ripe slice and lemon tart to bring home which my hubby and I enjoyed. Overall a good experience. Thank you for a great experience.

quote The fried noodle and Lemon chicken were the best. But the restaurant environment was not very clean, and kitchen tools were lying around on the tables in the dining area which made us hesitate a little to go in. Other than that, they served good food and were affordable prices.

quote Never had a takeaway so full that they couldn't put a lid on it, so that was rather amusing (and a great portion for the price!). Pork was very crispy and delicious but could have used a lot more sauce. Most places cook the meat in the sauce but this was just a drizzle. The rice given with it was fried rice so that was pretty nice
