fairy-bird

quote This has been the best meal delivered in a long long time. I could not fault a dish. Delivered hot and fresh. Flavours were spot on and leaving me wanting more. Portions were more than ample though. Can not recommend highly enough.

quote This has been my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne since I first discovered it way back, in 1994! Over the years I brought so many friends, family, colleagues, and they all loved it! The whole experience has been the same all these years - the service, food, atmosphere all have a feel an upscale restaurant. When you add moderate pricing to that, it certainly makes it a must visit place. It is very hard to pick a favourite dish, as all food chef Narender makes is great. Still, i may mention a few. My favourite dish has been, from the beginning, chicken pakora, but I would also highly recommend: - bagare baingan (eggplant dish) - onion chili kulcha (spicy stuffed bread). I also have to mention friendly smiles of the owners Reeta and Narender Behl, which make you feel like you are visiting their home, rather than their business. Highly recommended!

lemongrass-restaurant

quote It's rare for me to give 5 stars to a restaurant. This was one of the best Cambodian restaurants I have tasted, in my entire life. I know it sounds absurd, but the food was amazing. The service was not bad. The server, even though she tried to talk to us in English, because I think she was non-English, she was still attentive and very friendly to customers. The restaurant, itself, has both Vietnamese and Cambodian kind of feel to it, even though there were Vietnamese paintings and the restaurant is both Cambodian and Vietnamese. We ordered Shaking Beef with Dry Egg Noodles, Cambodian Pork on Rice and and Boat Noodles with Braised Offals. I tried the Cambodian Pork on Rice, with a bit of the Shaking Beef and Noodles. First time trying Cambodian Pork and it was delicious. Pork had a bit of sweet flavour. Definitely highlighting the pork flavour. The rice is good. The braised eggs were braised perfectly. Eggs were cooked, and maintained a nice eggy flavour to it. Nice colour on the egg and pork. Beef is very tender, outside has a nice colour, as well. Noodles were flavourful. Overall, it's a great place to start if you looking for Cambodian food, as well as Vietnamese food.

quote Been here thrice. Love the food. It’s authentic and the staff are genuinely kind. My father says that the hokkien mee is “out of this world.”
