Traditional Filipino cuisine. They have take away orders available and they're always pretty good. If you miss Filipino
homecooking then you have to try Chadz. I don't know how but their lumping shanghai stays crispy even after a few days in the ref! Their pancit palabok is pretty good too so is their chicken sisig. Their kare kare is a bit too sweet for my liking but otherwise, it's pretty good. :)
I came across Gad’s Grillhouse and Shisha restaurant through a YouTube video made by Globetrotting Brock and made a note to try it when next in Brisbane. During our vacation in Brisbane/Gold Coast, my wife and I decided to stop by for a late lunch/early dinner.
We arrived around 3 PM, just as the restaurant was opening, and despite the timing, the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Within 20 minutes, our table was filled with a generous spread of food.
My wife ordered the mini chicken and chips with garlic and BBQ sauce, while I opted for the mixed grill. The portion sizes were impressive—easily enough to share—and everything was cooked fresh to order. The lamb and chicken were both tender and full of flavour, and the Adana was particularly enjoyable, especially as it was my first time trying it. The freshly baked, hot bread was a standout on its own.
Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent food, warm service, and generous portions. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for quality grilled dishes.
Unbelievable food quality. WAY better than my local regular chicken shop!
The salads are the first give away!... Absolutely first class presentation and food quality. The chips are always crispy and hot and they clearly use good oils.
We have gone back a few times already when we are down at Brighton!!
