Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. Common ingredients include shrimp paste, fish sauce, bean sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables.
Wow, amazing. Ordered some Egg Fried Rice and must admit they tasted so good. As usual, fast and quick service. Pricing on point. Will be back again.

First time here for Yum Cha but definitely not the last. No wait for a table & little wait for our Kai to start coming.
I loved that we could quickly scan & order and that the online menu had photos of the dishes & was available in English. We ordered 8 different dishes which cost in excess of eighty dollars.
Service was efficient & friendly. Our table was clean & the restaurant was also clean.

Spicy burger was good and fresh! Could be spicier though. Chicken popcorn was delicious, juicy and tender. The chips were cooked perfectly with amazing chicken salt on them. The lady was friendly and food was ready quickly. Would definitely go back.

Amazing place, fish and chips salted well, not too salty. Whats best is the service, lady there at the cashier was extremely nice. We ordered mussels and somehow we got an extra, went back to tell them but in the end told that it was a gift to us, such a nice place. Do visit, cheap and good and good service.

My family and I have been regular visitors to Asian Wok, and it never fails to hit the spot for our Chinese food cravings! This gem of a restaurant consistently delivers mouthwatering dishes with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back for more. From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly service makes you feel right at home, and the speed at which the food arrives is impressive without compromising quality.
Some of our absolute favorites include the succulent tiger prawns, the rich and savory salted fish and eggplant casserole, and the perfectly crisp green beans fry. The steamed pork ribs are tender and packed with flavor, while the beef honeycomb in peanut sauce and kung pao chicken bring just the right balance of spice and texture. We also can’t get enough of the beef and spring onion stir-fry, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Every dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic flavors that make every bite a delight.
The staff’s attentiveness and the welcoming atmosphere only add to the experience, making Asian Wok our go to spot for Chinese cuisine in Auckland. If you’re looking for delicious food, fast service, and a friendly vibe, I highly recommend giving Asian Wok a try, you won’t be disappointed!
