sheesh-mahal-indian-restaurant

quote If you are looking to eat Indian meal in Brisbane, this is the one for you. I never been to any restaurant where the owner & the chef comes out with a big smiley face & greet customers like you greet your dearest ones. They literally go above & beyond to look after their guests. The food was great with huge portion sizes. I honestly haven't experienced any better customer service in any restaurant than this one. Keep it up. Thanks.

quote I really like the food here, I always order crispy chicken rice and bean pork mince noodle. I have never tried their take away specials, I'm guessing ppl are giving bad reviews for the take away food? The main menu is authentic and quite nice in my opinion.

88-chicken-and-topokki

quote (ps. Photos incomplete the food was too good) 88 Chicken topokki, has been one of our favourites since I was pregnant. I would always crave for their food, the hot pot, the chicken , the rice and their side dishes.until now my daughter is 6 years old it is still our absolute favourite. Back in the day the side dishes were unlimited. Due to cost of living I guess they had to stop it cause like myself I could probably get it refilled 3 times. The owners (husband and wife , along with their daughter) manage the place well. Although it's only the two of them most of the time their quality of food never , I mean NEVER changes. Their strict but somewhat friendly approach is normal for fast paced restaurants like these. However, on their busy periods being low staff means that the food does take longer. As this may be a negative I believe the food is worth the wait. What I am also amazed about it, how the owners especially the woman owner never seems to age. Keep up the good work! You guys are doing amazing admist what the world has gone through. I pray that God continues to bless your business and that you don't loose touch of good customer service because your food is already amazing. 잘 했어, 싸움을 계속! (I'm not Korean 🤭but I tried)

quote I’m a little perplexed about the 5 star reviews, perhaps dine in is a better experience. We got take away, first off the price - we paid $17 for what turned out to be a small fried rice, like the smallest of the circle tubs! That was ridiculous. The taste of the food itself was fine but it was nothing amazing, and not worth the exorbitant price tag of $115 for rice, veges and 3 meat dishes. It was average so it gets an average score.

quote Very homely place! It does look outdated but clean and organised. We were welcomed at the door by a lovely lady. Meals were even better than we expected, tasty and generously portioned.

quote This is the best Uyghur style chinese food in the Brisbane area outside of Sunnybank. The spicy sour rice noodles are excellent. The noodles are thick, similar to the Taiwanese rice noodle style, with fresh cucumber, peanuts, chicken, and lots of garlic. The noodles are perfectly cooked to the firm yet smooth texture and the dish, served cold, is a nice, suprisingly refreshing, spicy meal. The homemade noodles with lamb are also quite good. But the stars are the meat skewers and noodle soups. The skewers are the classic Uyghur style with lots of cumin. The broth is so rich. Its amazing to have this place so close to the University. While there are places that do some of these dishes better in Sunnybank, you need to take multiple buses from the University to get to those. Its a little mom and pop place, and the guy serving is nice. You order from a tablet, as I think there are only two people working at this restaurant at any one given time. Its amazing what they pull off as just a tiny family place. Parking can be challenging if you drive here. It can also be slow at times (but fast at other times), and tables often aren't cleared, but if you are here, you probably weren't driving. You're here for the unique and delicious food within walking distance of work or study. Hard to beat this local place. I have no idea why the star rating is so low. Maybe people are expecting fine dining service in a little mom and pop shop. Its honestly quite puzzling.
