So I was craving for a fish and chips on a NY day arvo and found this gem of a place. I ordered seafood basket. Served by a friendly uncle whom happily answered my questions. Cozy restaurant that feels like an outback deli. It is neat and clean. Seafood basket was sizeable with plenty of chips and generous two servings of hake fish. At $17, it was great value. Quality is great too. I agree with some of the reviews where chips were crunchily tasty and were not oily. Fish were great with crunchy batter yet juicy in the inside. Food aside, the menu instore, in my opinion, is kind of confusing with plenty of options and prices plastered all over. I will visit again to taste their other food. Recommended to try if you want a no fuss tasty fish and chips.

As a returning customer, the Laksa is always yummy. The Fish Wing Bee Hoon had a delicious broth, but the fish tasted a little fishy 🐟

Food here is pretty good and served quickly after ordering. Portions for the dishes are also generous. Staff are friendly and polite however they did not fill up the tea pots as regularly. The table arrangement felt a bit cramped but it was lucky that diners were spaced out. Overall still an enjoyable evening.

Finally made it here for dinner after hearing so much about this place. And I must say their good reputation is well justified. Food here is tasty with decent-sized portion, and service is top notch. Will definitely be back for more!

Dinner visit at Chins Noodle house. Quite a large restaurant with plenty of seats, lots of celebrations there - I heard 3 birthday songs the night we went. They have plenty of round large tables for groups / families. The stand out dishes for me were the string beans with belachan - not overpowering, well cooked and tasted fresh. The Salted egg yolk king prawns were crunchy, delicious and well cooked. Also loved the seafood claypot with vegetables - delicious, sauce was nicely balanced and prawns fresh and big. The star dish however was the roast duck (whole) - I was really surprised with how juicy, succulent and tender the duck was. I have had roast duck and goose in Hong Kong and I use this as a bench mark. Chin's duck wasn't quite there but it was close enough. Only let down was the Fried Patagonian toothfish - I thought it was pretty average - although crunchy, it had a fishy smell and taste was ok.
