I’ve been getting take away from here for years and always enjoyed the food and value for money. The dining area has been recently renovated so we ate in this time. Friendly, fast service and same great food. I recommend trying the dine in experience but note they are BYO only.

Indian Essence in Elsternwick is a true culinary gem! The food is absolutely amazing—flavour-packed, beautifully presented, and authentic. Service is top-notch: attentive, efficient, and warm. The vibe is elevated by the friendliest staff, creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Indian food!

Young man Adam was excellent in his service. He poured tea into your tea cups and was very polite and attentive.

I must say, this Malaysian restaurant offers great value for money. Most of their main courses cost only $10, and both the flavor and portion are really satisfying. If you plan to eat here, I recommend coming early. Otherwise you might have to wait in a long line
