The team is friendly, the service is quick, and the shop is always clean and welcoming. They’ve got great options for families, vegetarians, and even gluten-free if you ask. I just came past here for some takeaway! Wow the staff were so friendly, I ordered some beef and black bean, lucky88 special fried rice, and some spring rolls, and a can of coke the lovely lady said to me that they had a special for the spring rolls so I got 2x the amount! Also the can of coke was given for free also! I was told the wait time would be 10 minutes so I decided to wait in my car, after about 7 minutes, I was about to go inside and see if it was ready, the man from the shop actually brought it to my car! Absolutely Amazing service!. The food was delicious!! The beef was so soft and tender, the rice had a beautiful taste and the spring rolls were great too! I will definitely be coming back here again! I live in preston and there are so many Chinese takeaways near me but honestly nothing comes close to the professionalism and quality I experienced tonight. Thank you lucky88 for such a wonderful experience!

Best takeaway in Doreen! Good portions, lots of ingredients, flavours are good! Service is excellent as well! They are happy to meet dietary requirements. And their service is super fast as well! Great family owned business, I am happy to support them as a returning customer

What an incredibly beautiful, thoughtful, and generous owner! My partner and I ordered a small portion of HSP, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and warmth. Despite the place being quite busy, the staff took our order with a smile and great care — and to our surprise, the owner still took the time to personally greet us. That gesture alone spoke volumes. The food? Absolutely amazing — fresh, hot, and bursting with flavour. You could really taste the quality and love put into it. To top it all off, the owner kindly offered us a complimentary rice pudding, which was not only delicious but also such a touching act of generosity. Overall, the food, service, and genuine hospitality here go beyond expectations. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — 5++ stars well deserved!

UPDATE 10/3/25 Quality seems to have dropped, therefore I am lowering this from 5 to 3 stars. Still great service though. Original review follows: Really nicely seasoned homemade potato cakes. Chips were nothing special but they were also good.
