Dinner visit at Chins Noodle house. Quite a large restaurant with plenty of seats, lots of celebrations there - I heard 3 birthday songs the night we went. They have plenty of round large tables for groups / families. The stand out dishes for me were the string beans with belachan - not overpowering, well cooked and tasted fresh. The Salted egg yolk king prawns were crunchy, delicious and well cooked. Also loved the seafood claypot with vegetables - delicious, sauce was nicely balanced and prawns fresh and big. The star dish however was the roast duck (whole) - I was really surprised with how juicy, succulent and tender the duck was. I have had roast duck and goose in Hong Kong and I use this as a bench mark. Chin's duck wasn't quite there but it was close enough. Only let down was the Fried Patagonian toothfish - I thought it was pretty average - although crunchy, it had a fishy smell and taste was ok.

Really lovely little cafe that serves great loaded milkshakes. Coffee taste good too. Owner/manager/chef/staff are lovely and helpful. We went there for their gingerbread decorating session and we had fun. Will come back one day to try their food.
Edit: Came back today and tried their food for the first time. Highly recommend the waffles!

The noodles for our curry laksa were not fully cooked which resulted in a hard texture. Ipoh hor fun was better.

Hidden gem for sure. I love coming here for their Pho and broken rice, as well as the beef hor fun. There are quite a few good Asian restaurants in the area but this will always be one of mine for these three dishes above.
The shop is huge small so will struggle to accomodate large crowds but if you’re early for meal time then you may be able to squeeze inside. There’s usually one person waiting tables so the service is average depending on how busy it is when you go. Still we’ve never really had an issue with service here, you’ll never wait that long. Parking is pretty easy with a huge lot outside.
If you like any of the three dishes I mentioned above then it is worth a shot to come here. You’d be hard pressed to find better in the locality in my opinion!

Friendly staff and good food. Doner kebab was made well with good flavours, chips had a nice crunch, and spinach gozleme also tasted great. Recommended.
