巴基斯坦菜

The majority of Pakistani cuisine, with roots in the eastern provinces of Punjab and Sindh, is commonly characterized as 'highly-seasoned' and 'spicy', overlapping with that of neighbouring India. International cuisine and fast food are popular in major cities such as Islamabad and Karachi; blending local and foreign recipes, such as Pakistani Chinese cuisine, is also common in large urban centres.

quote We had an amazing experience at Sydney Red Chilli! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. The Chicken Karahi was full of rich, aromatic flavours with just the right balance of spice, the Chapli Kabab was perfectly cooked with that traditional smoky taste, and the Nihari was slow-cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful and comforting. The portions were generous, service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere made it a great place to enjoy proper Pakistani cuisine. Definitely one of the best spots in Sydney for authentic flavours – we’ll be coming back again soon!

quote I visited Virsa with my family last Friday after randomly searching for goat curry, and I’m so glad we did! We chose this place after seeing all the tempting photos in the reviews and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Khadija greeted us with a warm smile and helped us with our order, even explaining the difference between a curry and a karahi, which was a nice touch. We ordered the full Goat Karahi, served in a traditional Pakistani-style karahi. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked in black spices and yogurt - rich, flavourful, and authentic. The portion size was generous, and for a moment, I honestly felt like I was eating Butt Karahi from Lakshmi Chowk in Lahore. Kudos to the chef and the management team. This is hands down the best goat karahi I’ve had, not just in Brisbane but anywhere in Australia!

quote Nice enough. I don’t mind the biryani. Roti is nice and sauce is very thick and grainy, not sure why. Probably a dish I’ve never tried before. The dish is called ‘dum ka keema plate’. Quick service, polite waiter and waitress.
