台湾美食

Taiwanese cuisine itself is often associated with influences from mid to southern provinces of China, most notably from the south of Fujian which often leads to it being classified as or grouped with 'Southern Fujianese cuisine'. There are also influences from Japanese cuisine due to the period of Japanese rule, as well as influence from indigenous cultures on the island.

quote Friendly staff and a huge range of drinks to choose from! We got the mango yakult and pineapple yakult which were both pretty good. The shop was clean and tidy with lots of tables to sit and enjoy your drinks. There’s also an area with board games and some claw machines to keep the kids entertained.

quote RIB MEDICINAL STEW HOTPOT - recommended dish. Generous portions of vegetables, meat and fish balls inside. The medicinal stew soup has heaps of umami, and it makes you going for more constantly. Very affordable Taiwanese home cook style restaurant. Just over $20 for a hotpot set that would leave two people full. You can tell this place has delicious food from the amount of people dining in!

quote I’ve always loved Taiwanese cuisine, and the food here is fantastic! There’s a great variety of dishes, and the portions are generous. The braised platter, meatballs, and beef vermicelli noodles are all delicious 😋 I’ll definitely come back next time! They also sell lots of Taiwanese snacks and specialty products, just like a mini supermarket. The host is very friendly, and the service is excellent.
